  1. I found after reading the short description of her reason to start writing so disturbing I had to quit reading ..you see It will be two yrs in Feb since my daughter was murderd and with the holidays approaching my emotions are raw. Perhaps I can go back and read more another day. thank you for sharing!

  2. I am so sorry. What a nigtmare for you. If I can help in some way I will. I would have never scoped a story to hurt anyone. Micki’s pain brought her to keep a promise to write this book and bravely she has come around but it was far more time that passed than what you have come through. May God bless you and your famly and bring you peace.
    Please accept my deepest condolences.

  3. Len, I am so sorry my words brought back your pain. I fully understand that, as I went through it as well and 30 years later I can still be affected–and was when I read your comment. Both our children suffered violent deaths and that is unbearable. I had to write because I had no other outlet for my grief. And I wrote for her and to hopefully with my writing prevent other teenagers from the same horror you and I live with. When people having a loss like this ask me for my book, I often tell them not to read it now but to wait until they have gone through all the facets of grief and have come out on the other side of sorrow–which is a little peace and comfort. I am hoping these words I write tonight will not further upset you. I pray for you as I pray for me that the day will come when the ‘great sorrow’ leads to a lasting solace for us and all those who have suffered similar losses.

    Blessings and prayers,

    Micki Peluso.
